Salary:     £26,520.00

Hours:      Full time hours 40hrs 7.30 to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday & Friday 7.30am to 1.30pm with half an hour lunch

An exciting opportunity has arisen working with a longstanding well known manufacturing business located in Redditch. Due to internal promotions our client is looking to recruit an Accounts Administrator to join and support their finance function.

 

You will be Working within the accounts department; your role will mainly cover purchase ledger and payroll. You will be responsible for maintaining the ledgers and closing all month ends in a timely manner. You will be working closely with both HR department and the buying team.

 

Day to day duties will include the following:

 

  • All aspects of operating the purchase ledger,
  • matching invoices to GRNs and posting onto our system.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements and communicating with suppliers to resolve any queries.
  • Arrange payments to suppliers and post remittances.
  • Update cash flow and payment plan spreadsheets.
  • Deal with expenses and various daily reports.
  • To support all aspects of the payroll function, calculating hours, time and attendance, new starters, and leavers.
  • Requirement to support credit control on an ad hoc basis.

 

Essential

Working knowledge of Excel

 

Advantageous

Preferred knowledge of SAP Business One.

Preferred knowledge of sage 50 payroll
