Quality Systems & Performance Engineer

As part of a broad ranging role – you will have regular contact people throughout the business; horizontally and vertically and will take leadership in shaping quality systems and business quality culture.

You will provide guidance on all aspects of ISO9001 and ISO14001 and will look to implement and / or improve business processes leading to business excellence and total adherence to the ISO standards.

You will take responsibility for complaints management, ensuring people engagement, leading to swift and effective complaints resolution


Management Systems Responsibility

  • Maintain and continually improve QMS and EMS at European facilities, situated in Germany and the U.K.
  • Promote and engage the business on all ISO9001 and ISO14001 aspects and meet the expectations of regulatory bodies
  • Manage external audits (customer / 3rd Party), driving through any audit non-conformity raised
  • Own the internal QMS/EMS audit system, ensure adherence through audit scheduling and oversee the progression of non-conformity
  • Define and manage Quality objectives and maintain Quality Key Performance Indicators to enable the business to react to adverse trends and /or identify improvement opportunities
  • Responsible for the local document management system according to ISO standard to ensure changes to processes are controlled, documented and where applicable
  • Evaluate the environmental impact for XP power Europe and gather data from a range of sources through audits, monitoring of environmental aspects and impacts and third-party reports.
  • Be familiar with environmental regulations and guidance throughout Europe

Customer / Local / Market Documentation Requirements

  • Complete customer requirements / local regulatory requirements in respect to packaging / waste / product contents upon their reasonable request
  • Review and complete quality questionnaires / provide information for customers / prospective customers
  • Complete production documentation for example: PPAP, PFMEA, FAI’s Etc

Data Analysis

  • With support from the Head of Quality | Europe and the Customer Quality & CI Team Leader, monitor and analyse performance and trends related to Product Quality, Customer Complaints, Supplier Quality and Audit Performance. Identify and recommend new initiatives to enhance business performance



  • Lead Auditor Qualified (ISO9001)
  • Experience leading quality systems within an organisation
  • Ability to effectively communicate and engage with others, aiding successful complaint or audit correction resolution
  • Comfortable with designing and implementing new processes / procedures to ensure ISO compliance and business improvement


  • ISO14001 / EMS auditing experience
  • Professional Quality qualification (Chartered Quality Diploma etc)
  • Six Sigma Qualification (Green belt or above) / Significant data analysis skills
  • Project Management experience
