The function of Sales Support is to provide direct support to the Sales Managers in the ongoing development of existing and prospective XP customers to ensure that the department is able to meet its growth targets. Reporting to the Sales Support Team Leader.


  • Deal with incoming sales enquiries positively and speedily, to ensure that the maximum possible progress to orders received.
  • To be the point of contact and to assist Key account managers/ Area Sales Managers within the division
  • To maintain and increase area database
  • To become competent in all working practices of the company and assist in the smooth running of customer support
  • To respond to customer phone calls and act accordingly
  • To gain a basic understanding of all products sold by the company
  • Maintain the projects in line with company rules and provide accurate forecasts with the information available
  • Proactively follow-up and close repeat orders for production projects and for other projects as directed
  • To meet or exceed targets set for Inside Sales
  • To ensure the customer orders are processed and acknowledged correctly and speedily (within 24 hours)
  • To ensure that purchase requisitions are placed in accordance with customer orders
  • Monitor all orders to ensure they are progressed and shipped on time, whilst minimizing the amount of inventory held
  • Advise customers of shipping delays
  • General administration support for the sales area
  • To be aware of all special customer agreements if applicable
  • Deal with all RMAS positively and speedily by communication effectively with Customer Services, Technical Apps and Key account Managers.
  • To product monthly returns reporting
  • Create the case on SalesForce and process the complaint
  • To ensure that the customers repair orders and advance replacement orders are processed and acknowledged correctly.
  • Attend and contribute to meetings
  • Ensure that all documentation and procedures are adhered too.

>  Key Qualifications and Skills

  • University degree
  • SAP S4 HANA knowledge and experience
  • Fluent in English and German 
  • Competent in Office 365
  • Great interpersonal skills 
  • Good time management 
  • Ability to think creatively and successfully with the ability to navigate and solve problems quickly and in full.
