Job: Transport Administrator

Location: Evesham

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 - salary dependent upon experience

Shift: 4 on 4 off. 10 hour shifts.

Our client have a vacancy for a Transport Administrator. The ideal candidate would potentially be looking to progress further down the line into a Transport Planning position. The candidate must have an office logistics background with experience from working for a pallet network company, general haulage or chilled distribution. 

The candidate must be accurate with data inputting and be able to demonstrate excellent communications skills. 

The candidate will work alongside our senior planners which will involve, inputting of customer orders, checking pricing, completing invoices,  assisting in the planning of routes for deliveries to retail distribution centre's of 30 vehicles, traffic management, collections of customers goods, driver compliance, communicating with drivers and customers.

Data inputting will also be required for our bespoke in-house order system. An eye for detail, outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, and good listening skills are essential.

Good geographical knowledge of the UK is essential for this role.

The candidate must have a minimum of:

GCSE’s including Math's and English

BTEC National Diploma or 2 A Levels - Desirable

Office 365, MS word, and Excel competent

Understanding of Drivers Infringements

knowledge of Drivers Hours Regulations
