Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

My client is a market leader in the manufacture of wheels for off-highway and construction vehicles. We have a long history of wheel production at our Cookley site and have a worldwide customer base.

We are currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter used to working in a heavy steel engineering environment.

The role involves work on a wide variety of equipment, including mechanical/hydraulic presses, CNC turning/drilling machines and welding equipment.

Working 39 hours per week on rotating shifts:

Mornings

06:00 – 14:00, Monday to Thursday

06:00 – 11:30, on Friday

Afternoons

14:00 – 22:00, Monday to Thursday

11:30 – 17:00, on Friday

Nights

22:00 – 06:00, Monday to Thursday

17:00 – 22:30 on Friday

Starting salary of £34,600 + £1,500 bonus + OT paid @ 1.5 & 2 x hr rate

Guaranteed salary increase of £2,400 per annum in January 2023

Guaranteed salary increase of £1,000 per annum in January 2024
