Job Title: Production supervisor

Location: Birmingham

Shift: 08:00-17:00 mon to fri 08:00-13:00                                             

Pay Rate: Neg depending on experience

A knowledge of steel or an interest in the sector would be beneficial but not necessary as full training will be given. Knowledge/awareness of imperial measurements an advantage but not essential. Forklift licence, crane licence and previous manual handling training useful but not essential

What’s the job?

Working with galvanised steel and aluminium

Assisting works director in day to day running of the factory

Delegating duties to staff

Running different teams of fabricators

Working from design drawings

Take an active role in design, research and development

Liaise with sub contractors and deal with transport

General ad hoc fabrication

What next?

Previous experience in a similar role or window manufacturing environment.

Previous experience in a supervisory position

Approachable and enthusiastic

Reliable and punctual

Strong attention to detail

Flexible approach to work

Mechanical engineering qualification would be desirable
