Position: Production Manager (Sheet metal worker)
Salary: 38k to 40k PA
A well-established sheet metal company basic in Kenilworth requires an experience Production Manager to join their workforce on a permanent basis.
Suitable candidates are likely to be time served and have experience in sheet metal fabrication, including with stainless steel, aluminum
* CNC press and Laser cutting machines.
You will have proven solid working experience within a Production Planning/Scheduling role with experience of working with a wide variety of products from various sectors including
In addition, you will have experienced in implementing improvements and efficiencies, running of the Workshop, staff management to maximize productivity, output and the quality of finished products ensuring Health & Safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
As a Production Manager you will be required to determine default time per operation according to comparative values or in accordance with validated production data, assist with labour planning to support Production throughout, have a good understanding of technical & planning documents and knowledge of metalworking with Steel/Aluminum.
You will plan and work to a production schedule ensuring it will be cost effective by estimating costs, negotiating and agreeing budgets with both clients and managers, monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as required again updating internal sales & customers alike ensure orders are completed to agreed timescales, budget and to pre-defined quality standards and that daily/weekly targets are achieved using allocated resources where needed. and be able to analyse production and process data to develop and achieve key targets and objectives You will oversee operational teams in achieving the production plan, collaborate with the Sales department to ensure effective production planning, facilitate daily production meetings and be able to analyse production and process data to develop and achieve key targets and objectives ensuring people are held accountable for communication updates and actions, This is a superb opportunity to join a true market leader in their sector who offer excellent career opportunities, free parking and other fantastic benefits!
