Job Title: Stores Coordinator

Location: Rugby

Salary: £24,000

THE JOB

  1. Prepare inventory records for cycle counts in accordance with the Company’s established process in the warehouse and production locations. Locate and count items and perform location audits. Compare results of physical audit with business system records to determine variance. Post all variances to correct inventory levels. Perform recounts as required.
  2. Analyze material transactions to determine root cause of discrepancies. Propose solutions to resolve errors and prevent recurrence. Report results and review proposals with manager. Assist with implementation of agreed changes.
  3. Respond to ad-hoc requests on inventory accuracy. Assist Accounts Payable with receiving troubleshooting.
  4. Support production as it relates to job receipts and inventory troubleshooting (BOM issues, WH transfers, etc.)
  5. Fill in for gaps in the warehouse due to vacations or absences. Understand and support all warehouse functions.
  6. Actively participate in Continuous Improvement/Kaizen events, especially those relating to inventory/master data accuracy.
  7. Transact and physically dispose of obsolete, slow moving and quality inventory on an as needed basis.
  8. Minimum 3 years’ material handling experience
  9. Experience picking orders and cycle counting
  10. Computer literate (Excel, MRP/ERP business systems).
