Job Title: Warranty Administrator
Location: Slough, SL1
Salary: £24k
Hours: 40hrs per week, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Duration: 6 month temporary contract

Our client is a leading manufacturer of construction and utility equipment and is looking for a warranty administrator to join their team on a temporary 6 month contract.  Your role will be to provide technical advisory support to dealers and the customer service team with the most up to date product information and parts and service news. You will develop service management reports to improve efficiency with the goal of achieving accurate profit centre-based management reports.

Day to day duties will include the following:
• Advise and support whether specific jobs are potentially warrantable
• Review open warranty jobs and produce weekly targets on job closures
• Manage correct allocation of labour, travel and mileage booked to jobs
• Collation and processing of warranty claim jobs to strict deadlines
• Produce finalised warranty claim forms
• Updating analytical regional reports
• Reopening and negotiating more reasonable commercial settlements
• Produce management and analytical reports
• Produce invoices for authorised payment
• Calculate cost recover and produce credits to dealers on a timely monthly basis

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
• Strong administration skills essential
• Understanding of warranty procedures desirable
• Basic technical knowledge of mechanical systems desirable
• Ability to work within tight deadlines
• Advanced knowledge of Word & Excel
• Self motivated
• Team player
• High attention to detail
