CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator - CV21
Due to the continued success of our JUDD engines and our growing historic racing and non-motorsport customer base, we have an immediate vacancy for an experienced CNC machinist specializing in turning.
The ideal candidate will be conversant with Fanuc controlled lathes and will be able to program, set and run these machines unsupervised producing low volume, high precision parts for our race engines and other customer projects. The ability to read and interpret technical drawings is essential, as is experience with gauge and measurement equipment as you will be expected to inspect some of your own work. Programming experience with Edgecam would be an advantage but is not essential.
The role will also offer the possibility to engage in the engine preparation side of our business during busy periods. Training will be given where necessary but a positive attitude towards quality and deadlines is vital, as is the ability to use your own initiative and integrate into a highly experienced and dedicated team producing work to the highest standards.
This is permanent full-time role with a 40hr working week. 8am-4.30pm shifts.
For which we will offer a competitive starting salary likely to be in the region of £15.00 - £17.00 per hour. Overtime is available during busy periods and there are good long-term prospects for dedicated, conscientious staff in a friendly and disciplined working environment.
