We are looking for a passionate, business focused Account manager who is focused on Extraction & Infrastructure to join our successful team.

 

Account Manager – Extraction & Infrastructure

We are looking for an Account Manager to have accountability for the nominated account in quarry & aggregates and infrastructure segments,

Reporting to the Sales Director this role is ideal for a candidate who has an engineering or business related background with experience with extraction industries.

 

What is the purpose of the role?

  • Responsible for coverage of accounts defined by Komatsu & MKL as Strategic Accounts. Such accounts operate in multiple territories globally.
  • Development and delivery of account coverage plans including regional and site level visits
  • Tender technical input, configurations, site evaluations and 3rd party add-on pricing in support of on-time, accurate tender submissions.
  • Equipment handover and KPI reporting on performance
  • Liaison within wider MKL business on product support & technology products business development with strategic and large independent accounts.
  • Attendance at negotiation phase along with Senior Komatsu and MKL leaders
  • Support of broader strategic growth projects as required
  • Use of CRM & other business tools
  • Once trained - Conduct Site Reviews (OFR) to recommend improvements to fleet performance or evaluate requirements

 

What skills and behaviours are we looking for?

  • Ability to work with large datasets and interpret findings
  • Discretion in handling sensitive commercial data / information
  • Have strong IT skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft packages
  • Be able to cope with managing multiple projects in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent (spoken and written) communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and an analytical mind
  • Relationship builder
