JOB TITLE

Civil Engineer – Drainage, Highways and Transportation

SALARY

  • £35,000 - £45,000, negotiable on experience.

EDUCATION REQUIRED 

  • Civil Engineering Degree

MIN. POST GRADUATE EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years within civil engineering consultancy

PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP (desirable)             

  • IEng, EngTech or CEng MICE (or working towards)

SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE             

  • ESSENTIAL – Modelling Software Microdrainage preferred, PDS or Civil 3D, AutoCAD
  • BENEFICIAL - Civils 3D, Site 3D

ESSENTIAL SKILLS            

  • Detailed analysis and modelling of drainage
  • 3D highways design and alignment including horizontal and vertical alignment design
  • Knowledge of various County Council design standards

DESIRABLE SKILLS            

  • Concept design – working knowledge of drainage design standards and good practice including SuDS
  • Sound commercial awareness
  • Comfortable in a client facing role
  • Ability to mentor junior staff
