Location: Coventry with some home working

Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 dependent on experience plus uncapped commission. OTE £45,000 per annum.

Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:30am – 5:30pm, Fri 8:30am – 5pm

Workforce is hunting high and low for the very best Business Development Manager who has experience within recruitment and who has a history of performing well within a team environment.

We are one of the leading recruitment firms in the West Midlands. Every year we provide thousands of excellent workers to over 700 local businesses covering a wide spectrum of roles.

You will be personally responsible for the business development and relationship management of identifying opportunities to sell the Online Staffing Platform, Vacancy Management and RPO solutions.

Identifying and building a pipeline of companies new to the concept or ones currently receiving a service from a competitor or equally securing longer term deals with customers we already supply ourselves

To assist with the completion and presenting of the sales cycle from tender documents through to final presentations and to support the handover to our implementation team.

What skills/experience should you have?

  • Recruitment experience is essential, a former consultant ready to progress into business development and relationship management.
  • Experienced in new business sales including lead generation and account winning within recruitment.
  • Proven track record of achievement.
  • Appreciation of the importance of excellent service delivery

Key Responsibilities:

* Identifying and engaging sales prospects * Account management and development, meetings with decision makers and influencers * Understand basic employment and recruitment related laws * Maintaining and updating databases * Selling our services; retained, volume, contract, permanent, headhunt etc * Negotiating Fees, Rates, Contracts * Develop niche marketing platforms and entities in line with our strategy * Ensure that sales targets are met

What skills/experience should you have?

  • Physical Attributes: Smart professional appearance
  • General Intelligence: Quick learner, able to prioritise workload, good level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Special Aptitudes: Able to deal effectively at all levels, enjoy contact with people and be able to work under pressure
  • Disposition: Outgoing and confident personality. Cheerful with a good sense of humor and capable of dealing with people at all levels
  • Motivation: Keen to learn new skills with possible development within the role to encompass other duties in the future
  • Organised: Work to company guidelines and standards, be readily available to supply information as and when required
