An exciting opportunity to work as part of a Global marketing team for a FTSE 250 company, creating and promoting high quality content across a variety of mediums including through our social media channels, emails and articles.



  • Create a complete content marketing strategy in line with the company’s goals to connect XP Power with our chosen demographic
  • Carry out an audit of our existing content and communications to develop and implement a focused and effective plan
  • Combine writing your own and working with a trusted team of copywriting, copy editing and proof-reading consultants to create content for website copy, case studies, technical articles, social media, email marketing, blogging, product and educational video, award entry copy and internal communications
  • Ensure all content produced maintains an appropriate tone, adhering to the company’s style guide. When editing, check for errors in grammar, punctuation, and style
  • Demonstrate best practises and deliver on-brand, professional, exciting, credible content every time
  • Project manage all content related requirements by overseeing the research, planning, scheduling, creation, auditing and optimisation of all content to a deadline
  • Act as the conduit between our downstream marketing team, senior management and product managers, and the specialist team of consultants you manage
  • Proactively ensure the full bank of content is being promoted via our website, email and social channels by working with the digital marketing team
  • Work closely with the technical SEO team to create relevant engaging content
  • Manage all European translations to ensure customer proposition and local marketing is delivered accurately
  • Work with our marketing team to analyse how your content performs and decide how to adjust our content strategy accordingly



  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience of working as a B2B content specialist
  • Degree in English language or related subject
  • Qualification in marketing, communication or related field
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and Website Content Management Systems
  • Ability to write and edit with speed and accuracy and have a strong knowledge of English grammar
  • Demonstrate marketing knowledge, including the use of current strategies to engage customers
  • Good understanding of design and layout and an eye for presenting text and imagery to engage the reader
  • Proven record of producing web content, such as landing pages, to communicate value
  • Experience with technical copywriting desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work with different content styles and adapt content to suit the situation in which it is being used, including translating technical copy into an easier-to-read format



  • Efficient, organised, manage calendars and juggle deadlines to ensure work delivered on time
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple freelance copywriters on a variety of projects in parallel
