BRIEF DECRIPTION: To carry out basic and general operative tasks as required. This role has a responsibility for food safety.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Ensure GMP practices are adhered to at all times within your areas

·         Carry out instructions as set out by your Team Leader

·         Raise any issues observed with your Team Leader

·         At all times be aware and observant of Health & Safety regulations ensuring you create a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues

·         Ensure all equipment you use is used correctly and returned in good condition

·         Accurately intake all inbound product and ensuring that all labels are applied on the day of intake and prior to placing in bin location

·         Complete all goods in documentation and the transfer to operations administration for Oracle and WMS input

·         Responsible for dry warehouses 1 & 2, freezers and ingredients chill

·         Communicate all stock movements undertaken by warehouse staff to administrators on the day of the movement. Any exceptions must be communicated and actions reported

·         Communicate any rejected deliveries to appropriate internal departments

·         Liaise with Q.A. department on a daily basis to ensure all inbound product meets specification

·         Daily picking of all product that will be used for production ensuring that all stock is picked in rotation and in line with picking list issued by planning

·         Communicate with stock checking team and ensure stock count integrity is maintained –participate in daily weekly monthly and annual stock checks as applicable

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND MEASURABLES

·         Achieve or exceed agreed KPI’s: waste, material usage, run rates and change overs.

·         Only carry out tasks you are fully trained to undertake.

·         Ensure your area of work is audit ready at all times ensuring our site standards are met.

·         Raise any Health & Safety concerns with the Team Leader.

 

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

An understanding of English both written and verbal.

A valid Forklift license would be advantageous.
