We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver to join our busy operation in  Severnside 

This is a full-time, perm opportunity offering regular hours, competitive rates of pay, and the chance to secure a permanent position with a leading logistics operation.

Shift Pattern

• 4on4off
• Start Time: 18:00

Pay Rates

Day pay rates: 

• Monday – Friday  £17.30 (overtime after 47.5hrs £19.46)
• Saturday £19.46
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £25.95

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £19.77 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.92)
• Saturday £21.92
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.41

✅ Additional £20 weekly supplementary payment

✅ Only one 30-minute unpaid break deducted per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Terberg unit to safely move trailers and vehicles around the depot.
• Position vehicles and trailers in designated locations.
• Carry out vehicle and trailer checks in line with company procedures.
• Ensure all yard movements are completed safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to site health & safety and compliance requirements at all times.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and records accurately.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and safe working practices.

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently.
