HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Driver Trunking- Severnside

We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers  on an permanent basis at our busy Severnside depot. The role consists of deliveries to NDCs, RDCs and trunking work. MMID is part of a well-established and well known international dairy company with modern and well looked after fleet.

Immediate starts for successful candidates after passing assessment and Induction.

Shifts available:

• Tuesday to Saturday start between 13:00-15:30 

Day pay rates: 

• Monday – Friday  £17.30 (overtime after 47.5hrs £19.46)
• Saturday £19.46
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £25.95

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £19.77 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.92)
• Saturday £21.92
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.41

30-minute break deducted per shift only! 

What we are looking for:

• In date DIGI and CPC card
• Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
• Willing to work weekends.
• Motivated and open to learn new skills.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.

Your role:

• Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refuelling vehicles.
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
