Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our busy distribution team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling goods, maintaining stock accuracy, and ensuring orders are processed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
Picking and packing orders accurately in line with customer requirements
Loading and unloading deliveries using manual handling techniques
Checking incoming goods against delivery notes and reporting discrepancies
Organising and storing inventory in designated warehouse locations
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times
Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and handheld scanners
Assisting with regular stock checks and inventory control
Working as part of a team to meet daily productivity targets

Requirements and Skills
Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not essential
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong time management and organisational skills
Physically fit and able to lift and move goods safely
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends if required

Monday to Friday with optional weekend shifts
Rotating shifts such as 6:00am to 2:00pm and 2:00pm to 10:00pm
