HGV 1 Driver - Bridgwater

You must have valid HGV Class 1 licence

 New Drivers welcome with previous class 2 experience.

We are currently recruiting for FULL TIME HGV Class 1 drivers for our depot in Bridgwater. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores. 8 - 15 drops per day, with Tail lift and cages. 

Immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shifts and Start Times available: 

• 3:00 Wednesday - Saturday 
• 3:00 Saturday - Tuesday
• 13:00 Wednesday - Saturday
• 3:00 Wednesday - Saturday
• 13:00 Saturday - Tuesday
• 3:00 Friday - Tuesday
• 11:00 - 13:00 Tuesday - Friday
• 2:30 - 3:30 Friday - Monday
• 3:30 Friday - Monday
• 14:00 Wednesday - Saturday
• 02:30 - 04:30 Saturday – Wednesday

Day pay rates: 

• Monday – Friday  £16.63 (overtime after 47.5hrs £18.71)
• Saturday £18.71
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £24.95

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £19.00 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.38)
• Saturday £21.38
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.50

30-minute break deducted per shift only! 

What we are looking for: 

• In date DIGI and CPC card 
• Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual. 
• Willing to work weekends. 
• Motivated and open to learn new skills. 
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work. 
• 6 months continuous Driving 

Your role: 

• Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules. 
• Prepping vehicles for delivery. 
• Completing vehicles checks. 
• Refuelling vehicles. 
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
