About the role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our Redditch team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and processed accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and thrives as part of a team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring all supplier deliveries are checked and recorded accurately
  • Carry out daily and weekly warehouse activities, including:
    • Binning
    • Perpetual stock checks
    • Daily and annual returns
    • Service exchange processes
    • Manual stock adjustments
  • Ensure all goods are accounted for at the end of each day
  • Complete all documentation accurately and within required timeframes
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse and logistics processes, sharing suggestions with the Team Leader

What were looking for:

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment, or a good understanding of warehouse operations
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel)
  • Awareness of health and safety practices, including manual handling
  • Strong team player with a positive and reliable approach
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good verbal communication skills

Desirable:

  • Manual Handling training
  • Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence
  • SPA or CSCS certification
  • Experience using handheld devices or warehouse management systems
