CNC Miller Setter
Location: Coventry
Salary: £15 - £17/hr
Hours: 39 hours per week
Monday - Thursday: 7:30am to 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am to 12:30pm

Permanent – Immediate Start Available

Our client is a well-established precision engineering company, offering a clean working environment, supportive team culture, and opportunities to work on a wide variety of materials and components.

The role of Senior CNC Miller will involve:
• Setting and operating 3/4/5 axis milling machines with Heidenhain controls
• Interpreting technical drawings and 3D digital files
• Producing prototypes and small production runs
• Proving out new programs and making necessary offsets or tool changes
• Carrying out both manual and CMM inspections
• Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
• Adhering to quality standards and tight tolerances
• Supporting team goals and promoting effective collaboration

Job Requirements:
• Time-served or equivalent experience in a precision machining environment
• Aerospace experience preferred
• Proficient with Heidenhain controls (including basic programming)
• Able to confidently inspect own work using CMMs and manual gauges
• Experience with Mikron, YCM or Bridgeport machines (desirable)
• CAM experience beneficial – training can be provided
• Skilled in machining a range of materials: steels, aluminium, plastics, brass, bronze, super duplex etc.
• Strong attention to detail, a team player, and flexible in approach
