Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Polisher to carry out manual polishing and scurfing of high-precision forged components. The role involves working on safety-critical parts such as compressors, turbine blades, and fan blades, ensuring they meet exacting standards for surface finish and dimensional accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hand polishing of precision forged components using pedestal units, cloth mops on spindles, and graded grits.

• Removal of surface defects and imperfections to meet tight aerospace-level tolerances.

• Working to detailed technical specifications and quality standards.

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safety-compliant work environment.

• Meeting production targets without compromising on quality.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in hand polishing precision components is essential.

• Strong understanding of polishing tools, techniques, and materials.

• Excellent attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
