Location: Stourport
Shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30 (overtime available during busy periods, with the possibility of night shifts)
Pay Rate: £12.25 per hour

Are you an experienced Machine Operator looking for a stable, long-term opportunity?
We have an excellent opportunity available with our client, a leader in bespoke wood production, for a Machine Operator to join their skilled team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate wood machining equipment efficiently and safely.
• Work with CNC machinery or as a Machine Minder.
• Follow program lists and drawings accurately.
• Conduct quality control checks and ensure products meet specifications.
• Identify and work with various wood finishes (e.g., Ash, Oak, etc.).
• Perform manual loading and unloading, with assistance available for heavier tasks.

Requirements:

• Experience with panel saws and edgebanders.
• Background in wood machining.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Physical fitness to handle manual tasks.
