Electrical Field Service Engineer
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum + Bonus and Benefits
Location: Malvern
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 2:30pm / On-call rota

Our client is a growing and successful business that provides maintenance and support for industrial and commercial products. Due to new business contracts, they are expanding their electrical team and are looking for an Electrical Field Service Engineer to join them.

This is a great opportunity for an Electrical Service Engineer or Electrician from any engineering industry looking to move into an interesting sector with full product training provided.

The Role:
* Installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair of UPS systems
* Working with single-phase and three-phase wiring systems in an industrial environment
* Reading and interpreting basic electrical schematics
* Carrying out hands-on mechanical work (e.g., wiring, drilling, assembly)
* Working from the workshop or shadowing an experienced engineer until fully competent
* Some nationwide travel may be required with occasional stay-away

Requirements:
* Electrician or Electrically Biased Engineer from any engineering industry
* Experience working with single-phase and three-phase systems
* Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Willingness to undergo internal and external training (including a written test)
* A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
