Job Title:             CNC Miller/Toolmaker

Location:             Aylesbury                           

Hours:                 Day shift // flexible start & finish times

Pay Rate:             £37,000 - £43,000 (DOE)

We are currently recruiting for a CNC Miller programmer/Toolmaker for our client in Aylesbury.  They are highly regarded within the Medical and Pharmaceutical industries.

They are ideally looking for an experienced Toolmaker with CNC Milling capabilities to join their expanding team of skilled machinists. To be considered Injection Mould toolmaking experience is advantageous.

What’s the job?

• Experienced CNC Miller – 3 axis
• Ideally capable of programming – Heidenhain controls
• Injection Mould toolmaking experience is advantageous
• Preferably apprentice trained
• Good communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel an advantage but training is available
• Quality focused working to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to read and interpret drawings
• Proficient working to micron tolerances
• Able to work as a team player and using own initiative
• Excellent awareness of health and safety aspects at work

Tool room machinery:

• J&S Grinders with optidress
• Deckel manual mills
• Laser welder
• Laser engrave
• Injection Mould machines
• Mikron HSM800 and Dur, 3 axis, Heidenhain controls
• CADCAM software VISI
• SODICK EDM, and Charmilles ROBOFIL wire using VISI PEPS
