Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for employee relations and looking for your next challenge? Join a rapidly expanding company as an HR Advisor at their Head Office and play a key role in supporting the HR function across the business.
As part of an evolving HR team, the successful candidate will be involved in a variety of HR activities and play an integral role in shaping the future of the company. You will manage a range of employee relations cases and ensure a smooth and efficient HR process across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Chair and advise on ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, flexible working applications, and more, seeing them through to completion.
- Decision-Making: Confidently issue decisions on employee matters, including dismissals, and support managers in investigations and welfare meetings.
- Policy & Procedures: Update and create HR policies and procedures.
- Recruitment Support: Assist with the recruitment process, from preparing job descriptions and adverts to shortlisting CVs, conducting interviews, and liaising with recruitment agencies.
- New Starter & Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process, ensuring all new starter paperwork is completed, induction is delivered, and relevant information is provided to Payroll.
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate HR records, assist with the probation process, organize HR documents for meetings, and support payroll with employee absence information.
About You:
- Proven experience in an HR Generalist role with exposure to managing employee relations cases.
- Strong knowledge of HR legislation and formal processes, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to confidently manage employee relations cases from start to finish.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Full driving license, with the ability to travel to various company sites when required.
- Proactive, adaptable, and capable of thinking outside the box.
Desirable Skills:
- CIPD qualification or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Excel (including V-lookups and formulas).
