Job Title: Stainless Steel TIG Welder/Fabricator

Location: Burntwood, Staffordshire, UK

Hourly Rate: £15 per hour

Overtime Rate: 1.3x hourly rate for hours worked over 40 per week

Position Type: Temporary to Permanent

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:15 - 16:00
• Friday: 07:15 - 14:15
• Total: 40 hours per week
• Overtime: Paid at 1.3x after 40 hours

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Stainless Steel TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with thin gauge stainless steel (0.9-5mm) and be proficient in reading technical drawings to fabricate and weld sheet metal components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components ranging from 0.9mm to 5mm in thickness.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings to fabricate sheet metal parts.
• Assemble and weld components to create high-quality industrial washing machines.
• Ensure all work meets industry standards and company quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a TIG Welder/Fabricator, specifically with stainless steel.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Experience in fabricating and welding sheet metal components.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
