Job Title: Fabricator

Location: Kingswinford

Pay Rate: £15.50 - £16.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:30 to 16:00 | Friday, 07:30 to 13:30

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our team, specializing in the fabrication of marine equipment using mild steel. This is an excellent opportunity to work with heavy gauge materials in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MIG TIG welding and be comfortable working with heavy gauge mild steel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabrication of marine equipment using mild steel.
• MIG TIG welding of heavy gauge materials to high-quality standards.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings to complete fabrication projects accurately.
• Ensuring all work is carried out to the required specifications and deadlines.
• Operating and maintaining fabrication equipment and machinery.
• Adhering to all health and safety guidelines in the workshop.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in mild steel fabrication.
• Expertise in MIG TIG welding, particularly with heavy gauge materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to meeting deadlines and solving fabrication challenges.
