Job Title: Mechanical Fitter & Assembler

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Location: Redditch

Standard working hours: Monday to Thursday: 08:00 to 16:30/ Friday: 08:00 to 13:30 (early finish!)

Are you passionate about precision engineering and hands-on mechanical work? We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Fitter & Assembler to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality products for a specialized industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assembly Tasks: Assemble carts, trailer chassis, axles, wheels, and panels, ensuring all components meet rigorous standards.
• General Manufacturing: Play a key role in the assembly of premium industrial equipment.
• Maintenance & Overhaul: Disassemble products for inspection or repair and prepare painted surfaces by sanding them down for refinishing as needed.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is completed to precise specifications with exceptional attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Previous experience in a mechanical assembly or workshop environment, such as automotive, body repair, or general engineering.
• Skills: Proficient in the use of hand tools and electric power tools with a strong understanding of mechanical components and assembly processes.
• Attributes: A keen eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
