Job Description: Mechanical Assembler

Location: Aston, Birmingham

Salary: £13-£14 per hour (depending on experience)

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• 1-hour unpaid break daily (39.5 hours per week)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team at our Birmingham facility. You will be responsible for assembling precision-engineered products, such as the Midas 2 system, to high standards of quality and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical products by following schematic diagrams and detailed written instructions.
• Use a variety of hand tools confidently and effectively to ensure accurate assembly.
• Inspect and test assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to company safety procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly process.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience in mechanical assembly, with the ability to interpret schematic diagrams and follow written instructions.
• Confidence in working independently and using hand tools proficiently.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 procedures is advantageous, but full training will be provided.
