TIG Welder Fabricator

Position: TIG Welder Fabricator

Salary: 18.00 ph

Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week

Location: Berkshire

Basis: Permanent 

Day-to-Day Duties:

* TIG welding stainless steel and other metals (1.5mm upwards)
* Fabricating and in the workshop and at client sites
* Reading and understanding technical drawings
* Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations
* Collaborating with a team to meet project deadlines
* Maintaining a professional and detail-oriented approach to work
* Occasional overtime as required by customer demand

Experience and Skills Required:

* Minimum 5 years welding experience (with references)
* Strong understanding of engineering/fabrication workshop operations
* Knowledge of mechanical systems is beneficial
* Experience in sheet metal work and pipe
* Previous experience in food/dairy manufacturing environments (desirable)
* Coded welder certification (desirable)
* Familiarity with Permit to Work documentation and writing RAMS (desirable)
