Location: Redditch - Travelling UK
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday - Days

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer who is multi-talented and capable of servicing and maintaining a range of sawing machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude along with electrical knowledge, enabling them to diagnose and repair a variety of technical issues efficiently.

You day to day duties will include the following:

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on bandsaw machines, circular saws, and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, replacing parts as necessary.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability of machinery.
• Respond promptly to service calls and provide on-site support to customers.
• Liaise with customers to understand requirements and provide technical guidance and solutions.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate smooth service operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role, ideally within the machinery or engineering sector
• Electrical Qualifications with proof of certificates.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience
• Proficiency in reading technical & electrical drawings and manuals.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
• Full driving licence.
