Job Advert: HGV Class 2 Driver – Burntwood

Location: Burntwood, Staffordshire
Salary: £14.00ph (£15.76ph Inc Hol)

Hours: 07:00am till Finish

Role & Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle for local deliveries.
• Ensure timely and efficient deliveries to clients across the region.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any faults.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspection logs.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, health and safety guidelines, and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive representation of the company.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
• Driver's Digi Card.
• Previous experience in a similar driving role (preferred but not essential).
• A clean driving record and a commitment to safe driving practices.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Physically fit to handle occasional manual handling tasks.
