About the role:

We are looking for a proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a client facing environment to join our Private Client Team. This team acts for a vast number of high net worth clients as well as numerous private family and charitable trusts.

Based in our Northampton Office, you will provide in-depth business support to the Partners and fee earners within the team. This role will see you working on a great variety of interesting tasks and would be well suited to someone with a flair for PA duties. 


Responsibilities of a Senior Legal Support Assistant include:

  • Proactive diary management for allocated fee earners
  • Preparing correspondence and documents through audio typing and word-processing
  • Drafting and formatting of letters, documents and forms
  • Being the first point of contact for clients
  • Liaising directly with third parties such as banks, the Probate Registry and HMRC
  • Administrative and business support for allocated fee earners, anticipating the teams needs where possible
  • Assisting with the preparation of all financial transactions as required

About The Candidate:

As a Senior Legal Support Assistant you will have:

  • An adaptable and personable telephone etiquette and experience of working in a client facing environment
  • Proactive nature and excellent attention to detail in all aspects of your work
  • Strong administration experience with a flair for PA duties
  • Experience within a legal, medical or professional services environment; former experience within the Private Client sector would be extremely desirable
  • Sound IT knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Excel
