Location: Leicester

Shift Hours: Rotating Shifts - 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm

Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour

Basis: Temp- Perm

Key Responsibilities:

• Welding Excellence: Utilize MIG and TIG welding skills to deliver high-quality work that meets strict tolerances.
• Technical Proficiency: Accurately interpret engineering drawings, work plans, and visual aids for exceptional results.
• Attention to Detail: Apply high standards and a meticulous eye to every project, ensuring precision and consistency.
• Safety First: Maintain a strong commitment to Health & Safety, with an emphasis on PPE usage and a safe working environment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Keep welding and fabrication equipment in excellent condition, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Team Flexibility: Adapt to various tasks and support other departments as needed to maintain productivity.
• Finishing Touches: Efficiently handle assembly and weld spatter removal for a flawless end product.

What We're Looking For:

• Formal Welding Qualification: Ideally certified, with proven experience in MIG and TIG welding.
• Engineering Drawing Knowledge: Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Continuous Improvement Mindset: Understand and apply lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
• Leadership Potential: Capable of training others and working collaboratively within a team.
