HGV Class 2 Driver (Multi-Drop, Palletized Deliveries)

Pay rate- £14.00ph (£15.76ph incl Hol)

Location: Birmingham, UK

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team based in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for driving and delivering excellent service in the transport industry. The role involves multi-drop deliveries of palletized goods, with a degree of handball required for unloading. You will be responsible for ensuring deliveries are made safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform multi-drop deliveries of palletized goods across the designated routes.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner.
• Load and unload pallets using handball (manual handling).
• Complete all required documentation accurately, including delivery notes and logs.
• Maintain high levels of customer service at all times, representing the company with professionalism.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the truck is roadworthy and report any issues.
• Adhere to health & safety regulations, including compliance with the working time directive and road laws.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all deadlines and targets are met.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence.
• Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC qualification.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries and handball.
• Good understanding of UK road laws and health & safety regulations.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
