TIG Welder Fabricator

Position: TIG Welder / Fabricator / Fitter

Salary: 40,000 pa

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:30

Location: Boden Hill 

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Day-to-Day Duties:

* TIG welding stainless steel and other metals (1.5mm upwards)
* Fabricating and pipefitting in the workshop and at client sites
* Reading and understanding technical drawings
* Operating equipment such as press brake, guillotine, rolls, and bandsaw
* Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations
* Collaborating with a team to meet project deadlines
* Maintaining a professional and detail-oriented approach to work
* Occasional overtime as required by customer demand

Experience and Skills Required:

* Minimum 5 years welding experience (with refeences)
* Strong understanding of engineering/fabrication workshop operations
* Knowledge of mechanical systems is beneficial
* Experience in sheet metal work and pipefitting
* Previous experience in food/dairy manufacturing environments (desirable)
* Coded welder certification (desirable)
* Familiarity with Permit to Work documentation and writing RAMS (desirable)
