Job Title: MIG Fabricator

Pay: £15-£16 per hour DOE

Shift: Days

Area: Birmingham 

Contract: Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Staircase/Balustrade MIG Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in fabricating staircases and balustrades using MIG welding techniques, primarily working with mild steel, with occasional work on stainless steel. Proficiency in TIG welding is a significant plus, adding versatility to the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and weld staircases and balustrades using MIG welding techniques.
• Work with mild steel as the main material and handle stainless steel projects as required.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Maintain high-quality standards and precision in all welding and fabrication tasks.
• Operate fabrication machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a fabricator, specifically in staircase and balustrade construction.
• Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG welding skills are highly desirable.
• Ability to work with mild steel and some experience with stainless steel.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
