Job Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Transport Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in expanding the logistics operations while reporting to the Transport Operations Manager. Your primary focus will be to optimize the logistics of their drivers and vehicles, ensuring maximum revenue and minimizing empty miles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Planer Operations Manager to achieve 100% utilization of vehicles and meet transport requirements.
• Develop and implement efficient workload schedules for drivers.
• Factor in routine maintenance when planning schedules.
• Oversee drivers' hours and shift patterns.
• Maintain regular communication with team members.
• Approve time sheets and relevant paperwork for your team.
• Ensure compliance with waste transfer notes.
• Manage investigations and incidents in a timely manner.
• Meet and exceed departmental KPIs.
• Foster and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct weekly vehicle audits and inspections.
• Ensure all drivers adhere to safety and compliance standards.
