Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Driver Shop Deliveries - Normanton

We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers  for a temporary ongoing position at our busy Normanton depot. The role consists of Multi-drop deliveries to shops, 8-15 drops. MMID is part of a well-established and well known international dairy company with modern and well looked after fleet.

Immediate starts after successful assessment.

Shift Available:

• Tuesday to Saturday 02:00 - 04:30 
• Monday to Friday 02:00 - 04:30

Day pay rates: 

• Monday – Friday  £15.87 (overtime after 47.5hrs £17.85)
• Saturday £17.85
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £23.80

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £18.13 (overtime after 47.5hrs £20.39)
• Saturday £20.39
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £27.19

30-minute break deducted per shift only! 

Day to day duties will include the following: 

• Driving with-in the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refueling vehicles.
• Multi drop deliveries.
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full. 

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

• At least 6 Months of Class one driving experience required.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
• Digi & CPC Card No more than 6 points for minor offences. 
• Immediate start for successful candidates!
