Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am - 1.30pm

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stock Controller to join our clients team. As a key member of their logistics department, you will be responsible for managing stock levels, overseeing deliveries, and ensuring that materials are allocated efficiently for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Management: Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, ensuring that all materials are accounted for and meet quality standards.

Stock Intake: Process stock intake by accurately entering information into the inventory management system and updating records accordingly.

Material Allocation: Allocate materials to specific jobs based on project requirements, ensuring timely and accurate distribution to maintain workflow.

Inventory Monitoring: Regularly monitor stock levels, identify shortages, and assist in the reordering process to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Reporting: Generate and maintain reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and usage trends to support decision-making.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and other departments to understand material needs and timelines.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment in the storage and handling of materials.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in stock control or inventory management is preferred.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to lift and move heavy materials when necessary.

A valid driver’s license is required.
