Job Title: Fabricator/Welder
Salary: £13-£16 per hour (depending on experience)
Location: Smethwick

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled Fabricators/Welders to join our team. This role emphasizes fabrication over welding, with the majority of our work involving mild steel, and occasional projects using stainless steel. If you have a strong background in fabricating structural steelwork and can interpret detailed fabrication drawings, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabrication of structural steel components, including steel staircases (preferred).
• Welding predominantly with mild steel; occasional stainless steel work.
• Reading and working from detailed fabrication drawings to ensure accurate production.
• Occasional site installation work, with experience in this area being a bonus.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a fabricator, with strong welding skills.
• Expertise in working with structural steelwork.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
• Additional experience fabricating steel staircases (preferred).
• Experience with site installations is advantageous.
