Hours: Mon-Thurs 7:30-4:15, Fri 7:30-2:00 / Flexible start/finish, 4-day week possible
Pay: £45,000 – £50,000 DOE
Our client specialises in providing high-quality 5-axis CNC machining solutions to various sectors including motorsport, automotive, aerospace, marine, electronics and renewable technology.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Offline Programmer. The applicant will be responsible for programming using Hypermill, simulating tool paths, setting, operating and machining tasks related to producing high-quality machined components for a variety of different sectors. It is important the applicant can work well under pressure and successfully join the friendly team by bringing their personal skills and experience to enable growth in the role.
The role does provide great progression to Machine Shop Lead in the near to mid future depending on the candidate.
The candidate:
⦁ Technical Drawing and Machining skills
⦁ CNC Programming and Milling skills
⦁ Experience in programming CNC machines
⦁ Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (Hypermill preferred)
⦁ Ability to interpret technical drawings
⦁ Motorsport experience preferred
⦁ Attention to detail and precision in work
⦁ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
⦁ Relevant technical certifications or qualifications
