Warehouse Operative - Amesbury 

We are recruiting at our Amesbury Depot for Warehouse Operatives.

The role is on temporary basis from mid October until January. 

The purpose of the role is to manually pick milk into trolleys, move them and empty across the chill, packing milk cartons into cardboard boxes, loading and unloading inbound and outbound deliveries, working in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining knowledge of products and processes involved in the day to day delivery of goods.

Shifts available:

• 06:00-16:30 - 4on 3off - Picking 

• 08:00-16:30 - 5on 2off - Boxing duties 

• 14:00-22:30 - 5on 2off - Inbound 

• 20:00-04:30 - 5on 2off - Inbound  

• 22:00-06:30 - 5on 2off - Inbound
  
  
  
  

PLEASE NOTE, TWO DIFFERENT PAY RATES MAY APPLY PER ONE SHIFT, DEPENDING ON WORKING HOURS AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BREAKDOWN BELOW:

Day pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £11.91 (overtime after 40hrs £17.86)
• Saturday £14.88
• Sunday £17.86
• Bank Holidays £23.82

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £14.64 (overtime after 40hrs £21.96)
• Saturday £18.30
• Sunday £21.96
• Bank Holidays £29.28

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Order picking using voice technology
• Operating chill trolley packers and chill shrink wrappers
• Loading/Unloading inbound and outbound vehicles
• Stock rotation
• Date code checking

Key skills and experience:

• Relevant experience in a similar role is desirable
• A good standard of numeracy and literacy skills
• A positive thinking and self-motivated individual
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
