Job Title: Rolling Mill Setter

Location : West Bromwich

Pay Rate: £12.50ph - £14.00ph

Shift Pattern: 39 hours per week

Working Hours:

• Nights: Sunday - Wednesday, 10 pm - 6 am; Thursday, 10 pm - 5 am.

• Pay Rate: £12.50 - £14.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus a 25% shift allowance for night shift

What You’ll Do:

• Operate Equipment: Set and operate roll forming equipment, presses, and ancillary equipment.
• Production Efficiency: Produce parts at the correct rate and report any issues in achieving that rate.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of the parts produced.
• Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date production and quality-related records.
• Maintain 5S Standards: Ensure good levels of 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) are maintained in the area.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement processes to enhance all aspects of the role.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety procedures.
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

• Knowledge: Proficiency in cold roll forming.
• Teamwork: Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
• Motivation: Drive to meet targets safely and to required quality standards.

• Experience: 5 years of experience in setting and operating a cold roll forming mill.
