Salary: £14.01 per hour
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm / Friday, 7:30 am - 12:30 pm
Location: Redditch

Contract: Permanent

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality aerospace components. You will be working in a dynamic environment with a commitment to precision, safety, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes) to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Set up machines, select tools, and manage offsets and tool changes.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and ensure machinery is in proper working condition.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy, ensuring they meet quality standards and tolerances.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following company safety policies.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure production targets are met.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a CNC Operator (aerospace industry experience preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Familiarity with CNC controls and machine tooling.
• Basic understanding of quality assurance procedures and tools.
• Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
