Senior Quality Engineer-Quality Assurance.

Day shift with early Friday finish

Salary offered will be dependent on experience (c£45k as a guide)

Full time/ permanent.

This proud British manufacturer of products designed and built to offer ease of use regardless of conditions, allied to a flexibility that reduces cost whilst improving performance is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to continue the drive and continuous improvement of processes and procedures in line with ISO9001.

As Senior Quality Engineer you be taking control of a dedicated Quality team and driving the shop floor in all Quality related matters, supporting the Quality Manager in developing and implementing processes to meet ever growing customer requirements.

• Determine and implement in-house; quality procedures, standards and/or specifications to drive compliance of ISO9001 throughout manufacturing and related processes.
• Drive Quality objectives to improve efficiency and profitability.
• First point of contact in response to returns, rejects and/or warranty issues, producing high quality NCR/ 8D reporting.
• Conduct internal and external audits.
• Provide support to the Commercial, Engineering and Purchasing departments.
• Maintain/ improve Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
• Drive the recording, analysis and distribution of Quality Assurance statistical information.

About you:

Already established within Quality assurance within manufacturing / Engineering, suitably qualified and fully conversant with both ISO9001 and ISO14001 are all key to the success of this role.

We are particularly keen to speak with Quality professionals with the ability and/or track record in delivering improvements to process and procedure within the wider Business Management System (BMS).

Practical knowledge will include:

• Ability to read complex engineering drawings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experienced in the preparation of I.S.I.R. and P.P.A.P. documentation.
• Experience in the use of measuring equipment, Faro arms, CMM’s.
