Job Description: Bench Joiner/Carpenter
Location: Leicester, UK
Hours: 40 hours per week dayshift
Salary: Up to £18.00 per hour

Our client is a renowned for its high-quality craftsmanship in bespoke joinery and interior fit outs for luxury hotels, commercial spaces, and residential properties. We are looking for experienced Bench Joiners/Carpenters to join our skilled team in Leicester.

Role Overview:


As a Bench Joiner/Carpenter you will be responsible for crafting and assembling bespoke joinery items, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and finish. You will work from technical drawings, collaborating with other skilled craftsmen to create high-end custom pieces for various projects, including luxury interiors.

Key Responsibilities:


* Manufacture and assemble bespoke joinery components such as doors, frames, cabinetry, and furniture.
* Work from detailed technical drawings and specifications.
* Use a variety of woodworking machinery and hand tools.
* Ensure the highest standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
* Collaborate with other departments (e.g., designers, project managers) to ensure successful project delivery.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.

Required Skills and Experience:


* Proven experience as a Bench Joiner/Carpenter, preferably in a high-end bespoke joinery environment.
* Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings and specifications.
* Proficient in using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing work of the highest quality.
* Good teamwork and communication skills.
* Understanding of health and safety regulations within a workshop environment.


Qualifications:


* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry/Joinery (preferred but not essential if relevant experience is demonstrated).
* CSCS card (desirable but not mandatory).
