Job Title: CNC Turner
Job Type: Days based, Perm
Location: Portsmouth
Hours: 7.30am – 4pm Monday to Thursday / 7.30am – 11.45am Friday
Pay: £15 - £16ph DOE

Job Specification
As a CNC Machinist you must be able to set & operate CNC lathes to produce precision components for a variety of industries.
The successful candidate will be a fully skilled engineer with CNC experience with Fanuc controlled machines.
Job Requirements:
To produce accurate, high-quality components.
Plan the production method and identify any tooling or fixture requirements.
Undertake any off set or minor changes to programmes to produce quality components to drawing limits/customer requirements.
Have a good understanding of Engineering drawings.
Have experience in machining various metals.
Be confident in working to tight tolerances and checking your own work during production batch runs.
Adhere to production schedules.
Able to program and set machine within allocated times.
Adhere ISO9001:2015 quality standard requirements
Able to create entire new programs to customer's drawing requirements (beneficial)
