This job description outlines the role of a Supervisor in charge of overseeing cleaning and waste operations within the company. The role is focused on ensuring the delivery of high-quality services through effective supervision, team motivation, and process improvements while maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Delivery:

  • Plan and supervise cleaning and waste activities, ensuring timely service delivery.
  • Conduct quality, health, and safety audits.
  • Ensure staff are trained in safety protocols and adhering to job-specific safety measures.
  • Manage staff timekeeping, attendance, and performance.

• Collaboration:

  • Develop and motivate team members through effective communication.
  • Maintain strong relationships with line managers and clients.

• Empowerment:

  • Identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Ensure staff receive adequate training.
  • Present information to management, colleagues, and customers.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Participate in reviews and meetings to gauge customer satisfaction.
  • Promote  products and services to customers.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Essential: Supervisory experience, relevant experience in cleaning and waste, health and safety knowledge, IT proficiency, problem-solving skills.
• Desirable: HNC or equivalent, experience using systems, analytical and motivational qualities.
